Everyone is feeling the pinch and having to dig deeper and deeper into their pockets when buying groceries! Only four supermarket chains hold more than 90% of the Austrian market. Farmers are fighting for survival. How much the retail giants earn is a well-kept secret. MILA is different!
MILA focusses on transparency and fairness.
We only add 30 per cent to the purchase price. That is very low by comparison. Thanks to the joint work of our members, we can offer particularly favourable prices. At the same time, we pay the farmers fair prices so that they can make a good living. There is no price squeezing with us. MILA buys from small producers, farmers’ cooperatives and wholesalers. Nobody makes a profit at MILA! At other supermarkets, profit is a stronger motive than careful treatment of people, nature and animals. At MILA it is possible to shop without discount battles and untrustworthy advertising promises. Many of our products are regional and organic, but not all. Affordability is very important at MILA.

The price comparisons were carried out in February 2024. We compared exactly comparable or identical products as they can be found in 2 to 3 large supermarket chains. Prices are valid for MILA members. Prices valid until at least 31 March 2024
